• Steam account data — When you sign in via Steam OpenID, we receive your Steam ID, display name, and public avatar URL. We do not receive your Steam password.
• Rust+ server tokens — If you link a Rust game server, we store a player token that allows us to query vending machine data from that server on your behalf. This token is specific to each game server and changes every wipe.
• Usage data — Standard web server logs including IP addresses and page requests may be retained for security and debugging purposes.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your session and display your account information.
• To scan Rust game servers for vending machine listings on your behalf.
• To provide the market price history and search features of the Site.

Advertising

rustvending.com displays third-party promotional banners (from partners such as RustClash) to non-subscriber users. These banners are served via embedded iframes loaded directly from the partner's domain. The partner may set its own cookies and use tracking technologies on its end as described in their respective privacy policies.

• We do not share your personal information with our advertising partners. They only receive standard request data (IP address, referrer, user-agent) when their iframe loads in your browser.
• Clicking a promotional banner opens an affiliate tracking link, which may set cookies on the partner's domain.

Pro subscribers do not see promotional banners.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Server scan data (vending machine listings) may be visible to other logged-in users on the same server.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Server scan history is retained for performance analysis and is periodically pruned.

The Site uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. Third-party promotional iframes may set their own cookies on their respective domains as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
